Curtain Walling
The curtain wall gives the specifier the opportunity to create stunning envelopes and Comar 6 delivers the capability and is one of the most comprehensive curtain walling ranges on the market today.
A variety of cover-caps provide specifiers with fifteen façade options including bull noses for trame horizontal and vertical façades. For facetted curtain walls corner mullions are adjustable from 90° to 135°. This means that roof-glazing applications such as barrell vaults, pyramids and sloped glazing can be achieved. Where the design brief demands no visable sight-lines COMAR 6 can be structurally silicon glazed.
Slim-sight lines that create a symetrical expanse is a basic design requirement, Comar 6 was developed to provide specifiers with a range of transoms and mullions with a 50mm sight-line. Where the façade demands performance a range of high Ixx value mullion and transoms ensure maximum spans are achievable whilst keeping the same 50mm sight-line.
Comar 6 has two forms of construction: stick and ladder frame. The transoms can be square or step cut providing a true mullion drained system.
Glass mirrored, tinted or opaque provide the façade with feature and distinction, incorporating panels adds feature to the façade. To allow panels and glass to be incorporated into the same curtain wall without the need to step-cut Comar have specifically designed a range of gaskets & pressure plates to provide glazing options from 3mm to 50mm.
